Polypropylene PP combines excellent properties such as chemical corrosion resistance, lightweight, safety and environmental protection, and fatigue resistance, making it widely used in industrial applications. However, when used in FDM 3D printing, it has a high shrinkage rate, easy warping, poor interlayer bonding, and edge curling and model collapse are almost a common occurrence. For a long time, wanting to use PP for functional parts for printing, one had to rely on expensive dedicated industrial equipment; most desktop-level FDM printer users, even though they are aware of PP’s excellent performance, are only at the conceptual stage and cannot stably apply it to projects.

It was precisely in the face of this industry’s contradictions that Polive Technology was born.

Modified PP is our first product.The team has deeply researched the process of modifying polymer formulations and filaments, optimizing them to effectively address the inherent defects. The modified PP filament can be stably printed on desktop-level FDM printers, truly bringing the inherent value of PP’s resistance to chemicals, safety, and environmental friendliness to the finished product.
